MotionHQ may provide or facilitate access to: creator profiles, MotionHQ AI, Academy, creative education, creative projects, studios and creative spaces, production services, distribution-related services, opportunities, partner services, enquiries and bookings, and other creative services and resources.
Not every service is available to every user, and services may change over time.
2. Creating an account
Some MotionHQ features require an account.
You agree to:
- provide accurate information
- keep your account information up to date
- keep your login credentials secure
- not share your account with another person
- notify us if you believe your account has been compromised
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless the activity resulted from circumstances outside your reasonable control.
3. Using MotionHQ

4. Creator content
You may upload or provide creative work, project information, profile information and other content.
You retain ownership of your content unless you separately agree otherwise.
By submitting content to MotionHQ, you confirm that:
- you own it or have permission to use it
- your submission does not knowingly infringe another person's rights
- you have the necessary permissions for people, recordings, images, music, footage or other material included in your submission
You grant MotionHQ the limited rights necessary to host, store, display and process your content in order to provide the services you have requested.
This does not transfer ownership of your creative work to MotionHQ.
5. Public content
Some MotionHQ features may allow you to make information or creative work publicly visible.
You are responsible for deciding what you make public.
Once information is made public, it may be viewed, copied or shared by others.
MotionHQ cannot guarantee that content voluntarily made public will remain private.
6. MotionHQ AI
MotionHQ AI is intended to help creators think, plan, learn and explore creative possibilities.
AI-generated information may contain errors or omissions.
You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated information before relying on it.
MotionHQ AI does not constitute professional legal, financial, medical, tax or other regulated professional advice.
Do not rely solely on MotionHQ AI for decisions where professional advice is required.
You remain responsible for decisions you make based on AI-generated information.
7. Academy
MotionHQ Academy provides educational and practical learning content.
Academy content is intended for general educational purposes.
Course content may include AI-assisted material that has been reviewed and approved by MotionHQ before publication.
Completion of an Academy course does not guarantee:
- employment
- funding
- income
- industry success
- distribution
- opportunities
- bookings
- professional accreditation
Where Academy activities involve practical decisions, you remain responsible for applying information appropriately to your circumstances.
8. Studios, services and enquiries
MotionHQ may allow users to enquire about studios, creative spaces, production services or other services.
Submitting an enquiry does not necessarily create a confirmed booking.
A booking is only confirmed when MotionHQ or the relevant service provider explicitly confirms it.
Availability, pricing, requirements and terms may vary by service.
Where a service is provided by a third-party partner, additional terms may apply.
9. Partners and third-party services
MotionHQ may work with creative partners, studios, producers, service providers and other organisations.
Where a service is provided by another organisation, that organisation may have its own terms and conditions.
MotionHQ is not responsible for the independent actions, omissions, availability or performance of third-party providers except where applicable law provides otherwise.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate clearly when a service is provided by a third party.
10. Payments
Where paid services become available, additional pricing and payment terms will be provided before you commit to a purchase.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Where applicable, refunds, cancellations and consumer rights will be explained at the point of purchase.
11. Opportunities
MotionHQ may provide information about opportunities, projects, events, funding, creative work or other opportunities.
Opportunities may be provided by MotionHQ or third parties.
MotionHQ does not guarantee that:
- an application will be successful
- an opportunity will remain available
- a third party will select you
- an opportunity will result in payment or employment
You are responsible for checking the specific requirements and deadlines of each opportunity.
12. Intellectual property
MotionHQ and its licensors retain ownership of the MotionHQ platform, branding, software, designs, logos, written materials and other proprietary content unless otherwise stated.
You may use MotionHQ only for its intended purposes.
You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or commercially exploit MotionHQ's proprietary materials without permission.
Nothing in these Terms transfers MotionHQ intellectual property to you.
13. Feedback
If you provide suggestions, feedback or ideas about MotionHQ, you agree that we may use that feedback to improve the service without owing you compensation, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
14. Availability
We will make reasonable efforts to keep MotionHQ available and functioning.

- MotionHQ will always be available

- the platform will be completely error-free
- services will remain unchanged
- third-party integrations will always be available
We may temporarily suspend or modify services for maintenance, security, technical reasons or other legitimate operational reasons.
15. Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary, including where:
- these Terms are breached
- the account is being used fraudulently
- there is a security risk
- unlawful activity is suspected
- continued access could harm MotionHQ or other users
Where appropriate, we will provide reasonable notice or an explanation, subject to legal, security or operational considerations.
You may stop using MotionHQ at any time.
You may request deletion of your account subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
16. Disclaimers
MotionHQ is intended to provide tools, information, education, access and creative infrastructure.
We do not guarantee any particular creative, financial, career or commercial outcome.
In particular, using MotionHQ does not guarantee:
- income
- funding
- employment
- audience growth
- successful releases
- distribution success
- bookings
- creative opportunities
- commercial success
Results depend on many factors outside MotionHQ's control.
17. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
This includes liability that cannot legally be excluded for matters such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded.
Subject to those limitations, MotionHQ will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from matters outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
18. Events outside our control
MotionHQ will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control, including:
- major technical failures
- internet or telecommunications failures
- third-party platform failures
- natural disasters
- government action
- widespread cyber incidents
- industrial disputes
- other events outside our reasonable control
We will take reasonable steps to restore services where possible.
